Are your washable face masks certified?

In our product catalog there are two types of washable masks. We provide non-certified community masks and washable masks certified by the Ministry of Health as class I medical device. This certification makes them equivalent to surgical ones and, consequently, suitable to protect from viruses and aerosols. In addition, our washable masks are branded CE, conform  to the directives of the European Community in the production of protective devices. 

What is the Bacterial Filtration Efficiency of a certified washable face mask?

The bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of our washable certified mask is equal to 95%. They are composed of three layers of filtering and breathable fabric. The most interior layer is made of GOTS certified organic cotton, while the others in anti-bacterial propylene. 

Why should I prefer a certified washable mask?

Washable masks have several advantages.

First they are reusable. They can be washed and worn again, keeping their filtration characteristics intact up to 50 washes. Their use also helps to reduce the problem of disposal of used surgical masks, thus representing a choice in favor of the environment. Washable face masks are also cheaper than surgical masks. The washable mask, in terms of time, protects, in fact,  twice as long as a classic surgical mask. Finally, one more reason to choose washable masks is that they can be customized with your company's logo or your employee's name.
