Disposable masks FFP2, are personal protective equipments that protect the respiratory tract from non-oil-based particles like dust, pollen, industrial dust, flu viruses and fine air pollution particles (PM2.5). Their folding design makes them more compact than the classic shell masks.

FFP2 masks measure 16x10,5 cm.

They are classified as FFP2 according to EN 149:2001 + A1:2009 standards. They are CE certified.

The composition of the mask

FFP2 disposable masks are made with four layers of humidity resistant, non-toxic and non-irritating non-woven composite fabric.

In particular:

• The first layer, the outermost one, is made of Polypropylene non-woven fabric, that filters the larger particles;
• The second layer is made of non-woven fabric with high filtering efficiency, made with the Melt-blown technique, that filters fine dust (PM 2.5);
• The third layer is made of a filtering fabric according to the N95 standard, that isolates bacteria;
• The fourth layer, in contact with the face, is made of electrostatic non-woven fabric and is delicate on the skin. It is a filter against bacteria and fine dust.

Thanks to these features, the masks can be worn for eight hours.

On the nasal bridge, there is an aluminum alloy strip that allows the mask to adhere to the face correctly. The soft elastic bands are welded to the mask using ultrasonic technology.

How to wear it?

It is very important, before using the mask, to wash your hands well, or to rub them with alcohol solution hand sanitizer gel.

To use it, simply open it by pulling it from the elastic bands and place the chin on the inside of the mask. Once placed the elastic bands around the ears, it is important to make sure it adheres well to the face by pressing the metal strip on the nose.

These masks are disposable, so they should be replaced after each use.

To remove it, grab the elastic bands again, taking care not to touch the inside part of the mask.

Once thrown into the mixed waste, it is important to wash your hands again.
